There is now an option to limit Cadence to object type. You can do this by navigating to the the Cadence Details. In the Assignment & Access Details there is a field called Permitted Objects. There you can add a comma separated list of SFDC Objects. If there are Objects added to that field and you try to Enroll a record into that Cadence that does not belong to that Object, this Cadence won't show up in the list of available Cadences. For example if you set the Cadence to be available for only Lead objects, then you can't enroll a Contact record into that Cadence. However, this protection only applies when enrolling from List Views or Cadence Actions. Automated enrollments will still work regardless of this setting.
Note: This feature was introduced in Conquer 19.29. If this package is installed as an update to an earlier version, the 'Permitted Objects' field will need to be added to the Cadence Page Layout in Salesforce Setup.
There are three ways to configure a Cadence for allowing enrollment:
1. Allow enrollment for one Object - Type the Object name into the Permitted Objects field e.g. Lead
2. Allow enrollment for multiple Objects - Type the Object names into the Permitted Objects field as a comma separated list e.g. Account, Contact
3. Allow enrollment for all Objects - Leave the Permitted Objects field blank
