Conquer Cadence Custom Settings allows managers to configure settings based on their organization’s cadence processes and preferences.
- From the Salesforce Setup menu, navigate to Setup > Custom Code > Custom Settings.
- Click on Conquer Cadence Settings.
- Click on the Manage button.
- If this is your first time configuring custom settings, click New.
If you’ve already configured these custom settings before and you want to edit your current custom settings, click Edit.
- Proceed with configuring the options that would best apply for your organization.
Allow Duplicate Active Cadences - This looks at the Object ID field on the Cadence Member object. When multiple active Cadences are allowed, this controls whether a given record can have simultaneous active enrollments in the SAME Cadence.
Allow Multiple Active Cadences - Allows for a single record to be active in multiple Cadences simultaneously. Default behavior will prevent multiple instances of the same Cadence on a given record.
Create Task for Completed Calls - Creates a Salesforce task on the Activity Stream when a call touchpoint is completed.
Create Task for Completed Custom Steps - Creates a Salesforce task on the Activity Stream when a custom touchpoint is completed.
Create Task for Completed Emails - Creates a Salesforce task on the Activity Stream when an email touchpoint is completed.
Create Task for Completed SMS - Creates a Salesforce task on the Activity Stream when a SMS touchpoint is completed.
Disable Complete Custom Step (Deprecated) - Disables "Complete Step" action for Custom type touchpoints
Disable Complete Email Step (Deprecated) - Removes the "Complete Step" action for Email type touchpoints.
Disable Complete Phone Step (Deprecated) - Removes the "Complete Step" action for Phone Call type touchpoints. (This requires users to make calls through Conquer Voice)
Disable Complete SMS Step (Deprecated) - Disables "Complete Step" action for SMS type touchpoints.
Disable Rescheduling Automated Emails - Disable "Reschedule Touchpoint" action for automated email touchpoints.
Disable Rescheduling Decision Points - Disable "Reschedule Touchpoint" action for Decision Point type Touchpoints
Enable Global Bulk Enrollment - When checked, this allows a user to assign records to any user via the Cadence Bulk Enroll tool. If disabled, they will only be able to assign records to themselves.
Global Cadence Hard Cap (Deprecated) - This option is deprecated. No actions will be taken if this is enabled/disabled.
Prevent Duplicate Email Addresses - When checked, prevents the creation of Cadence Members with an email address that exactly matches the email address of another Active Member.
Prevent Read-Only Enrollment - Prevents Users from enrolling records into a Cadence that the User has Read-Only access to. They must have Edit permissions on the object to enroll.
Team Cadence Soft Cap - Limits the number of Active Cadence Members a User is allowed to have from a Team Cadence at a given time.
Disable Conquer Account Trigger - Disables the Conquer Account Trigger from executing.
Disable Conquer Contact Trigger - Disables the Conquer Contact Trigger from executing.
Disable Conquer Lead Trigger - Disables the Conquer Lead Trigger from executing.
Disable Conquer Opportunity Trigger - Disables the Conquer Opportunity Trigger from executing.
Note: When any Standard Object Trigger is enabled, record data (such as email, phone) will automatically update the record data inside an active cadence. When disabled, the record data will not update in the cadence.
Disable Docked Email Composer - Hides docked email composer which sits alongside Cadence Utilities drawer. This setting is enabled by default.
Advance Cadence on LinkedIn Message - Advances Cadence Touchpoint when a related Task with the record type of General Task LinkedIn, LinkedIn Call, InMail, or Message is created (these record types are not included in our package).
Note: Customers using this feature will need to first install the LinkedIn managed package or create their own record types matching the ones mentioned above.
Apply Wait Period to Business Days Only - Restricts wait times to business hours only.
Overdue Touchpoint Threshold - Remove Touchpoints that are overdue a certain amount of days.
Remove Touchpoints for Inactive Users - Automatically removes Touchpoints when users are deactivated.
- When done, click Save.
