Overview
The Blocked Numbers feature in Denali Workspace allows Admins or authorized users to prevent specific phone numbers from calling into or being dialed out from the Conquer platform. This is useful for managing spam, supporting compliance, and conducting internal testing.
Note: Only Admins or authorized users can manage blocked numbers.
Using Blocked Numbers
- Navigate to Denali Workspace and click on Blocked Numbers.
Note: Blocking a number only increases the block count. The Last Updated column will remain unchanged unless a structural update is made—such as editing the expiry date.
-
Click the Add New Number button.
- Choose your input method and click Next:
- Enter Manually – For single entries. This will be the most common choice.
- Upload CSV – For bulk number blocking. See instructions below.
- If entering manually:
- Select an expiration type – either Permanent or a custom expiration date.
- Enter a valid phone number in E.164 format (e.g., +14155552671 US or +34141343814 Spain).
- Click Save to block the number.
Uploading Blocked Numbers via CSV
You can upload multiple blocked numbers at once using a CSV file with the following format:
- ani (required): The phone number in E.164 format (e.g., +14155552671).
-
expires_at (optional): The expiration date in
YYYY-MM-DDformat. Leave blank for permanent blocks.
Example CSV:
ani,expires_at +14155552671,2025-06-30 +14155552672, +14155552673,2025-07-15
- Once uploaded, the numbers will be processed and displayed under the Blocked Numbers section.
What Happens After Blocking
- Blocked numbers will be prevented from calling into the Conquer platform.
- Agents will be unable to dial out to these numbers using Conquer.
