Performing an email step is easy to do seamlessly inside of a cadence and it automatically completes email touchpoints. Sending an email in a cadence can be done in a few different ways.
From Cadence Utilities
In the Cadence Utilities panel, expand the email touchpoint that you want to work on. Click on the email address associated with the record. This will populate the 'To' field in the Conquer Email component on the record page and/or in the Docked Email Composer depending on your company's settings. If an email template has been set for the Cadence step, the template will also populate.
Note: Docked Email Composer configurations are set in Conquer Cadence Custom Settings.
From Cadence Utilities > Actions Dropdown
In the Cadence Utilities panel, click on the Actions Dropdown. Then click on Perform Touchpoint. This will populate the 'To' field in the Conquer Email component on the record page and/or in the Docked Email Composer depending on your company's settings. If an email template has been set for the Cadence step, the template will also populate.
From Cadence Actions
In the Cadence Actions component, navigate to the email touchpoint you want to work on. Click on the email address associated with the record. This will populate the 'To' field in the Conquer Email component on the record page and/or in the Docked Email Composer depending on your company's settings. If an email template has been set for the Cadence step, the template will also populate.
From Cadence Actions > Actions Dropdown
In the Cadence Actions component, click on the Actions Dropdown. Then click on Perform Touchpoint. This will populate the 'To' field in the Conquer Email component on the record page and/or in the Docked Email Composer depending on your company's settings. If an email template has been set for the Cadence step, the template will also populate.
Once the 'To' field is populated with either of the above methods, continue with composing your email or select an email template.
When your email is ready, click Send to send the email.
The email touchpoint will automatically advance to the next step in the Cadence once the email has been successfully sent.
Note: If your org has been configured respectively, it's possible that some or all email touchpoints that have the EOO marker, will be automatically skipped.
