Good morning, Conquer Voice users. Conquer Engineering has been notified of an issue that appears to result in some users having difficulty establishing their Agent Sessions using our Call Me feature. Resources are working to address the issue.
In the meantime, users can configure our Computer Audio feature to establish an agent session.
More details will be posted when they become available.
UPDATE 6:02am PT: Conquer Engineering cycled servers to address the issue and we are seeing things return to normal. An RCA will be posted when it's available.
UPDATE 6:30am PT: Conquer Engineering confirms that the issue is resolved, and all systems are operating as expected.
RCA: At 12:15 AM PT on July 9th, a redundant NFS server cluster used by Conquer for music on hold failed and entered recovery mode. The cluster self-healed and was re-integrated into the system. However, due to ongoing internal migrations designed to minimize downtime, a bind mount was not properly recovered on the media servers without a full restart of our container processes. This issue prevented the NFS drive from being re-mounted on the containers that relied on it, leading to connection failures for some A-Legs. At 6:00am PT Conquer Engineering restarted the containers that were failing to remount the drive properly, leading to a large number of disconnections and at 6:03am PT Conquer was fully restored.
Moving forward, the step of restarting containers has been incorporated into the disaster recovery procedures for our NFS clusters to prevent similar issues.
