This afternoon at 3:42pm PST, Oracle (DYN) suffered a massive DNS outage. This took down a lot more than just DialSource, but DialSource was globally impacted. The entire Denali system as well as anything on the dialsource.com domain - including our website, email, and even Base Camp where this announcement is now live - were completely offline.
During the outage, the development team immediately began preparation to migrate from Oracle's DNS platform to Google. However, because Oracle's web interface to manage the Domain was also unavailable, it was not possible to complete the migration. At 4:34pm PST the Oracle (DYN) service was fully restored. DialSource is preparing to complete this migration from Oracle to Google Hosted DNS within one week. A maintenance notification will be posted when the transition will occur, however, no service interruption is excepted during the changeover.
