" I’ve dispositioned a record, but not all my designated fields are being updated. "
- Do you have the Edit Object permission on the record? You must have the Edit Object permission in your Salesforce User Profile for a Disposition to update all the intended fields on record. You must also have the ability to update all fields the Disposition is attempting to modify (not barred from editing those fields via field-level security or validation rules). For examples of Edit Object permission on record:
Edit Object permission on record | Your Disposition can update any standard or custom fields on the record. |
Without Edit Object permission on record Classic(V2) | Your Disposition will only log the call on the record. |
Without Edit Object permission on record Conquer Voice(V3) | Your Disposition will only log the call on the record and update the Total Call Count, DS Date of Last Dispo and DS Last Dispo fields on the record. |
- [Classic only] Did you correctly format Conquer Dispositions? Make sure the Disposition name does not include any special characters or punctuation. Otherwise, the calls may not log correctly. If a call is not logged correctly, the disposition may not update all of the intended fields on a record. Here are a couple of formatting examples:
Incorrect Format | Correct Format | |
No Punctuation | Not; Interested! | Not Interested |
No Special Characters | :0%! | 0 Percent |
- Did you disposition the call BEFORE clicking on the Agent Hang Up button? You must disposition the record BEFORE clicking on the Agent Hangup button to update all the fields on a record. Otherwise, the call will be logged as DialSource Automated Call in the record’s Activity History and no fields will update.
